Meet Saffiya

Muallimah Saffiya Ameer is a Hafidha and Islamic scholar who completed the Sihah Sitta at Mu'eenul Islam in Johannesburg. She also holds an Honours Degree in Islamic Studies, and a qualification in Advanced Arabic Grammar. She approaches her teaching with both academic care and a gentle, mercy-centered ethos.

With over ten years of experience across a wide range of learners—including children, teens, adults, new Muslims, and advanced students—Saffiya’s teaching draws from both formal training and lived experience. Her Montessori background, combined with the insights gained from raising three young children in Madinah Munawwarah, informs her thoughtful and engaging approach to early childhood education.

Meet Nihaal

Nihaal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and has pursued Qur’anic Arabic studies at Masjidus Salaam in Durban. She continues her journey in advanced Arabic and Islamic studies, driven by a deep love for knowledge and faith.

Her greatest inspiration comes from her two young daughters, who sparked in her a passion to learn, teach, and spread Islamic guidance in ways that touch the heart. Even as life presented unexpected challenges, Nihaal chose to transform her energy into meaningful roles: as a mother, a wife, and a lifelong student of the deen.

With a special interest in digital graphic design, Nihaal blends creativity with purpose. She brings vibrancy and accessibility to Islamic knowledge, crafting visuals and resources that make learning engaging and memorable. Her vision is clear: to pave a path where others can connect with the beauty of the deen easily, joyfully, and with lasting impact.

Nihaal’s journey is a reminder that strength is not the absence of trials, but the choice to live with purpose, faith, and creativity.
